As an Senior/Intermediate QS at Lorclon, you will play a key role in the commercial management of our projects – from cost planning to final accounts – while gaining hands‑on experience with NEC contracts and civil engineering works.

• Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Supporting tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management
• Conducting feasibility studies, cost estimating, and cash flow forecasting
• Undertaking measurement and valuation of work in progress, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Preparing and valuing variations, claims, and change control
• Undertaking regular site visits and liaising with engineers and site teams
• Monitoring project progress and highlighting cost‑related risks
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting of project costs, forecasts, and performance

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in civil engineering projects
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline
• Proven experience working with NEC contracts preferable
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel)
