Quantity Surveyor

Working on behalf of our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Greater Manchester, We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyors & Senior Quantity Surveyors on a permanent basis. Key Duties Manage commercial aspects of civil engineering projects from inception to completion. Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts. Cost control and forecasting across multiple sites.

Identify and manage variations and changes to scope. Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management. Prepare and present monthly cost/value reports to senior management. Maintain compliance with contractual and financial procedures. Work collaboratively with operational and client teams. What we are looking for in the successful candidate Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or residential infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of groundworks, roads, drainage, and external works (Desirable) Excellent understanding of various forms of contract (e.g. NEC, JCT). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Full UK driving licence. What our client can offer in return Competitive package between £45,000 - £70,000 DOE Company car or car allowance. 25 days holiday allowance  bank holidays.
