Senior Procurement Specialist
Peterborough | £55,000–£60,000 | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Permanent | 37 hours per week

I’m recruiting for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join a major infrastructure organisation delivering large-scale, high-value projects across the region. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone from a gas, oil, construction or utilities background who’s confident managing complex procurement activity and wants to make a real impact.

• Leading end-to-end procurement on major infrastructure projects
• Managing sourcing pipelines, tender processes and high-value contract negotiations
• Working with NEC contract terms across multiple work streams
• Building strong supplier partnerships and driving commercial value
• Ensuring full compliance across public procurement regulations
• Influencing internal stakeholders to support project delivery

• Strong background in gas, oil, construction, utilities or major infrastructure
• 5–7 years’ experience in complex procurement
• Confident working with NEC contracts
• Good understanding of public procurement rules
• CIPS Level 5 / RICS or similar (desirable)
• Commercial mindset, strong negotiator, and comfortable managing multiple projects
