Procurement Specialist

Position Overview

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and delivering a strategic pipeline of sourcing initiatives for major infrastructure programmes and projects. You will lead complex commercial negotiations, manage supplier onboarding, and ensure the delivery of maximum value to the business, regulators and customers.

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process for major infrastructure agreements, focusing on NEC contract terms.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects and apply strategic thinking to achieve successful outcomes.
• Engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with public procurement rules and relevant legislation.
• Develop strong market knowledge and build effective supplier relationships.

• Minimum 5‑7 years of demonstrable experience in infrastructure procurement with a strong track record of NEC contract delivery.
• Substantial experience in a project‑based environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of public procurement rules and European procurement legislation.
• CIPS Level 5, RICS (or equivalent professional qualification) preferred.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
