About Us:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN.
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they are engaged and motivated.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in an SEN setting, is desirable.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN education or childcare would be advantageous.
