Vacancy for Midday Supervisor Orton Wistow Primary School

Salary:

£2,766 (Actual Annual Salary)

(Grade 3 Point 2 £ 24,413 FTE)

Hours of work:

5 Hours a week

12.10pm - 1.10pm Monday-Friday

38 Weeks a year

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and engaging Midday Supervisor, who strongly believes in the inclusion and acceptance of all students at Orton Wistow Primary School
.

The Opportunity
  • Supervise pupils, during the lunch periods, in dinner queue in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises, ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of pupils and the maintenance of good order and discipline.
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of all pupils
  • Arrange and supervise activities, under direction of the Cover Managers
  • Supervise pupils on the school premises in the hall, classrooms, on stairs and through corridors, when they are not allowed outside because of inclement weather.
The ideal candidate
  • Has a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in the English Language.
  • Experienced in supporting children.
  • Is aware of child protection issues.
  • Understands the concept of confidentiality.
  • Communicates effectively with all.
  • Has a positive and enthusiastic approach towards work.
