Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible, ad-hoc work in a welcoming primary school environment?

Aspire People are working with a school in the Peterborough who are seeking reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistants to provide support on an ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can integrate quickly into new environments, and is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range.

As a TA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional guidance
• Leading and assisting with small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with general classroom learning and targeted intervention work
• Supervising pupils during break times and in the lunch hall
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Has proven experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Is confident supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
• Is flexible, proactive, and able to adapt at short notice

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to maintain flexibility while continuing to make a positive impact in schools.
