A well-regarded secondary school in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama and Performing Arts Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where the arts are valued as a key part of the curriculum.

You will deliver high-quality Drama and Performing Arts lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential). The successful candidate will inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills while supporting academic progress.

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Drama and Performing Arts lessons

• Prepare students for assessments, examinations, and performances

• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment

• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

• Contribute to extracurricular activities, including productions and clubs

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Specialism in Drama and/or Performing Arts

• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school

• Strong classroom management skills

• A genuine passion for the performing arts

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)

• Supportive leadership team and collaborative staff culture

• Well-equipped facilities for drama and performance

• Long-term stability with potential for extension
