Are you an experienced Civil Engineering professional with a passion for mentoring and training the next generation? We are seeking a dedicated Assessor/Trainer to join a dynamic team in Cambridge, supporting apprentices to achieve success in their careers.

• Manage a caseload of apprentices, providing high-quality coaching, mentoring, and training
• Conduct progress reviews and provide constructive feedback to learners and employers
• Support learners in developing portfolios and preparing for End Point Assessments (EPA)
• Work closely with employers to identify suitable tasks and training opportunities
• Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of learner progress
• Deliver targeted training to develop learners’ wider skills
• Maintain compliance with apprenticeship standards, awarding body requirements, and health & safety regulations

• Relevant Civil Engineering qualification and strong industry experience
• Level 3 vocational qualification (essential)
• Level 3 TAQA qualification (or willingness to work towards)
• Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance (desirable)
• Understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
• Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
• A passion for training and mentoring learners
• Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle
