A well-qualified secondary Drama and Theatre Studies Teacher is required for maternity cover at Arthur Mellows Village College, an outstanding comprehensive College situated in a pleasant rural location between Peterborough and Stamford.
The successful candidate will be passionate about the Drama and Theatre Studies curriculum and have a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge. They will have experience of working with GCSE and A Level specifications for Drama and Theatre Studies.
We are seeking to appoint a highly committed and enthusiastic teacher who has the ability to teach at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, plus has a passion for teaching Drama including involvement in our extra-curricular whole school productions and clubs which are so popular. The ability to teach a second subject is desirable, but not essential. This is a temporary role which ends on the return of the postholder.
Behaviour in the College was judged to be Outstanding in our recent OFSTED report (May 2025) and staff are friendly and supportive, committed to ensuring all students achieve their potential.
The position would suit an ECT or an experienced classroom teacher. This is a real opportunity to make a difference with our highly motivated student body.
