Design Manager

An established manufacturing business based in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead and manage its in-house design department. This role focuses on managing the design team and ensuring all design output is accurate, consistent, and suitable for manufacture. You will review and check the work of designers, providing technical oversight and maintaining high standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities Manage, support, and develop the design team Review, check, and approve design work prior to release for manufacture Ensure designs meet manufacturing and quality requirements Act as a technical escalation point within the design department Maintain design standards, processes, and documentation Work closely with production and engineering teams
