Overview

Purchasing Analyst. May also suit a Supply Chain Analyst, Junior Buyer, Procurement Professional.

Location:

Peterborough. Fully onsite role, 5 days per week.

Salary: £24.00 FCSA Umbrella (inside IR35); £17.50 PAYE.

Contract:

Long-term opportunity (minimum 12 months).

• The supplier analysis for all locations throughout this global business.
• Provide analysis and input of the data, verify the results, and source new suppliers against quality standards; recommend improvements when needed.
• Develop improvement plans to support buyers and professionals to enable optimal and efficient operations.
• Perform analysis and maintenance of assigned processes that produce output excellence, build expertise for the assigned process area, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Support customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
• Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of purchasing strategic initiatives.

• Good solid Data Analysis, MRP skills, and strong Excel skills.
• Experience researching and sourcing new suppliers; data manipulation; confident using Excel, MRP, and associated programs.
• Willingness to work a long-term contract (minimum 12 months).

• Hours:
  
  7am – 3pm, Mon to Fri.
