Location: Peterborough, Bury St Edmunds, or Chatham (Hybrid)
Rate: £14.78 per hour
Contract: 12-month contract with potential for permanent opportunities
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Flexible - part-time or full-time considered (e.g. 9am-3pm, 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm)
Hybrid Working: 3 days office / 2 days home

Morson Talent are recruiting on behalf of UK Power Networks for an Administrator to join their centralised Purchase Order team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with strong progression opportunities into more specialist Purchase Order and finance administration roles.

The Role

You will support a busy team responsible for raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices across the organisation. This role involves a mixture of administration, inbox management, and liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure invoices and Purchase Orders are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a shared inbox and responding to basic enquiries
  • Sending invoices to internal teams for approval
  • Chasing approvals via email and phone where required
  • Uploading approved invoices to internal systems
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records using Excel and internal systems
About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

Essential
  • Previous administration experience
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing inboxes and chasing responses
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
Desirable (not essential - training provided)
  • Experience using SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar systems
  • Experience working with invoices or Purchase Orders
