Project Resident Liaison OfficerLocation: London (SE1 - office based with site visits)Salary: £35,000 per annumContract: Permanent We are currently working on behalf of a well-established housing provider who is looking to appoint a Project Resident Liaison Officer on a permanent basis.
This is a key role within the Planned Investment team, acting as the main point of contact for residents during major works and planned investment programmes. You will play a vital part in ensuring residents are informed, supported and satisfied throughout the delivery of works to their homes.Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for residents affected by planned and major works
- Manage resident communication before, during and after works, including newsletters, letters and consultation events
- Develop and manage resident consultation and communication plans for individual projects
- Liaise closely with contractors, surveyors and internal teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality resident experience
- Attend site visits to resolve issues face-to-face and monitor resident satisfaction
- Handle complaints, feedback and general enquiries in line with policy and best practice
- Support leaseholders with information relating to major works and service charge contributions
- Coordinate temporary or permanent decants where required
- Organise and attend contract meetings, prepare agendas and circulate minutes
- Maintain accurate records, reports and performance data
- Support contract administration including purchase orders, variations, invoices and financial monitoring
- Identify and support vulnerable residents, ensuring appropriate measures are in place
- Act as client representative or project lead on smaller contracts where required
- Proven experience in a Resident Liaison or similar role within a housing or property environment
- Strong background in resident communication, consultation and complaint handling
- Experience working alongside contractors on planned or capital works programmes
- Good understanding of contract delivery and basic budget monitoring
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage data and reports accurately
- Confident running meetings, taking minutes and managing multiple work streams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- £35,000 per annum
