About the Firm

Ambition UK is recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable, Top 10 accountancy firm and the largest SME-focused practice in the UK. The firm operates across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics and offers a wide range of exciting, progressive opportunities.

As an Audit Senior, you will have the support and autonomy to:

• Begin taking ownership of your own portfolio, with guidance from your manager.
• Support the delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop and nurture long-term client relationships.

• Lead the completion of audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures.
• Plan and complete audit assignments ensuring files are fully and appropriately documented
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, identifying key risks and issues for Manager/Partner attention.
• Plan, execute and finalise audit engagements for Manager/Partner review.

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP.
• Experience auditing clients across a range of sectors.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
