Audit Senior

Audit Senior - Surrey Mid-Tier Practice | Hybrid Working | Excellent Progression Ambition is partnering with a respected mid-tier accountancy firm in the Surrey / Guildford area to recruit an Audit Senior . This is an excellent opportunity to develop your audit career within a supportive, people-focused team, working on a varied portfolio of small to medium-sized clients across multiple sectors.

You'll take ownership of audits from planning to completion while supporting junior team members and strengthening client relationships. This firm offers strong long-term progression, sector variety, and a collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead audits from planning to completion, including risk assessment and key audit areas Draft and review financial statements, audit reports, and supporting schedules Perform substantive testing, analytical review, and design audit procedures Review junior work, provide feedback, and support ongoing development Manage timesheets, appraisals, and team workflow Liaise with tax teams on provisions and returns Review forecasts, challenge assumptions, and reassess risks at key stages Build strong client relationships and prepare clear audit highlight reports Requirements ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification Strong experience leading audits within UK practice Strong working knowledge of UK auditing standards Able to work directly with clients and mentoring junior staff Benefits This firm offers a comprehensive and impressive benefits package, including:
