Management Accountant

The Role An established and friendly chartered accountancy practice in the heart of Stourbridge is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to play a key part in the day-to-day running of accounts within a supportive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Preparation of statutory accounts for SMEs Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing financial support Supporting year-end accounts and audit processes Assisting with process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects Candidate Requirements CIMA or AAT qualified (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management accounting role ESSENTIAL:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice Strong technical accounting knowledge Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients Well-organised with strong attention to detail The Practice & Benefits Friendly, close-knit team environment Small / medium-sized practice with a personal approach Free on-site parking Pension scheme Flexible salary depending on experience (£30,000 – £40,000, with scope above for the right individual)

Hours:

9:00am – 5:30pm (flexibility available) Working Pattern:
