Senior Accountant​/Client Manager

Role Summary

We are working with a well-established, independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors who are looking to grow their team with high-quality professionals across a broad range of levels, from Senior Accountant through to Client Manager.

The firm is focused on long-term growth and is keen to meet ambitious individuals who want to develop their career within a close-knit and advisory-led environment.

The firm operates a generalist model, providing exposure across accounts, tax, audit, and advisory services. They support a diverse client base and place a strong emphasis on client relationships, quality of work, and individual contribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts and related advisory work for a varied client portfolio.
• Provide tax compliance and advisory support across personal and/or corporate tax matters.
• Undertake audit work where required as part of the firm's generalist approach.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining trusted relationships.
• Manage and delegate work to senior and junior team members, reviewing work as appropriate.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the team and wider firm.

Desirable Experience

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
• Experience with in a UK accountancy practice.
• Background across audit, accounts, tax, or mixed general practice.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Comfortable working in a traditional, office-based working culture.
• Ambitious, driven individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
