Accounts Senior

The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior to join an established, reputable and growing accountancy firm in Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis.

Schedule: 35 hours per week

You’ll be joining a firm with professional & personal development at its core, in a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and values work-life balance. You will be responsible for clients within the agriculture and landed estates industries and therefore previous experience in this space would be highly advantageous.

• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Taking ownership of ad-hoc advisory projects
• Review of work prepared by other members of the team & support with training of others in the office
• Assisting managers with looking after a large portfolio of accounts and bookkeeping clients
• Assisting clients with VAT and bookkeeping queries, including set up and support on accounting systems
• Work planning and annual timetabling
• Billing and financial management

• ACA/ACCA qualified with some prior experience of working in practice
• Experience with agricultural and/or landed estate clients
• Hybrid Working (up to 3 days per week from home)
• Flexitime around core hours (10am-4pm)
