Responsible for the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive technical and safety training to production employees, engineers, and quality assurance staff. This role involves both classroom instruction and hands‑on coaching on the production floor, ensuring all personnel are proficient in required manufacturing processes and compliant with rigorous aerospace regulations.
Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Analyze training needs through collaboration with engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop new curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials, including job aids, digital content, and simulations.

Coaching:
Deliver formal instructor‑led training, hands‑on demonstrations, and on‑the‑job training (OJT) for various manufacturing and inspection processes. - Compliance & Standards: Design and maintain training content aligned with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirement.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Develop and implement methods to validate training effectiveness, including knowledge checks, skills demonstrations, and proficiency assessments, using results for continuous program improvement.
- Records Management: Coordinate course scheduling and accurately maintain training records and certifications within the company's Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with quality, safety, and operations leaders to identify skill gaps, prevent recurring nonconformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 4S, built‑in‑quality).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable training content.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and various knowledge levels.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree or technical diploma in a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Prior experience developing and delivering technical training programs (classroom, hands‑on, and blended learning).
- Experience with relevant software and tools, such as an MES (Manufacturing Execution System), CAD software (e.g., Catia, Solid Works), and Microsoft Office/Google suite.
- Working knowledge and/or active certification in relevant industry standards (e.g., Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) for J‑STD‑001 or IPC/WHMA‑A‑620) is highly desirable.
