There is built-in demand and the infrastructure to support long-term sustainability. You’ll practice exclusively outpatient rheumatology with an on-site infusion center and a care team designed to let you focus on quality patient care, seeing 14-16 patients per day. The role is ideal for a rheumatologist seeking autonomy, flexibility, and predictable workdays without hospital rounding.
We are open to part-time or full-time.
- You’ll join a hospital-employed, outpatient-only rheumatology practice with an established panel of ~683 active patients and consistent referral flow
- Adjacent infusion center with nine chairs and one bed, fully integrated into clinic operations
- Strong clinical support including a dedicated MA, triage nurse, practice manager, and prior authorization specialist
- In-house diagnostics including lab services, X-ray, ultrasound, and DEXA to streamline patient care
- Full-time structure of 32 clinical hours plus 8 administrative hours per week
- Patient volumes typically 12-16 per day with customizable visit lengths and new patient mix
- Administrative time can be completed remotely, supporting flexibility and work-life balance
- Part-time schedules available for physicians seeking reduced clinical time
- Base salary starting at $300,000, with flexibility based on justifiable experience and schedule
- $20,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation allowance
- Generous PTO ranging from 203-278 hours annually, plus one week of CME time and six paid holidays
- Full benefits package including malpractice with tail coverage, retirement plan, health insurance, and covered licensure and memberships
- Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology
- Interest in outpatient-focused practice with infusion oversight
- Comfortable managing both established and new rheumatology patients
- Open to experienced physicians or fellows nearing completion of training
- Live in a New England town known for scenic surroundings, strong schools, and low crime just 1-1.5 hours from Boston. Or, live in between to be closer to Boston.
- No state income tax or sales tax, supporting long-term financial planning
- Easy access to hiking, skiing, biking, and year-round outdoor recreation
- 1.5 hours to Boston airport for convenient international travel
