The stated hours of work are approximate as schedules are subject to change with the operational needs of the Health Centre. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:This is a high-impact opportunity to lead facilities operations within a dynamic healthcare environment where operational excellence directly supports patient care, staff safety, and service continuity.
Reporting within Corporate Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Facilities operations and infrastructure reliability, regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness, emergency preparedness and business continuity, vendor governance and contract performance, financial stewardship and resource optimization, and sustainability and long-term asset management.
You will oversee complex building systems and lead modernization initiatives that strengthen operational resilience, integrate evolving technologies, and support PRHC’s long-term environmental and infrastructure strategy.
You will lead and develop a skilled facilities team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Through strong cross‑functional partnerships with clinical and corporate leaders, you will ensure the physical environment consistently enables high-quality care and service continuity.
This role requires a visible, confident leader who thrives in dynamic environments, anticipates risk, and drives proactive solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:Baccalaureate degree with specialization in business, architecture, engineering, OR equivalent post-secondary degree or diploma in trades; and three (3) years management experience in a healthcare environment, including experience working within Broader Public Sector Procurement Directives; or a combination of education and work experience.
WHO YOU ARE:- Working knowledge of collective agreements.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and those that apply to health care facilities.
- Knowledge of the technical equipment requirements from major vendors (i.e. clinical systems, TSSA regulated equipment, etc).
