Salary & Hours
Salary $70,000–$75,000 annually (to be negotiated). 35 hours per week.
Employment DetailsPermanent, full time employment. Finance and financial management services, other. Hybrid: work completed both in person and remotely. Work setting: various locations, head office.
Responsibilities- Plan, set up and administer accounting systems.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control.
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies.
- Prepare reports and audit findings.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
- Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure.
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records.
- Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
- Analyze financial documents and reports.
- Examine accounting records.
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits.
- Variance analysis.
- 3 to < 5 years of experience.
- Chartered Accountants (CA) designation.
- Workday.
- Accounting software.
- Quick Books.
- MS Office, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Work under pressure.
- Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, proactive.
