Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Research Associate to join our dynamic research team focused on protein chemistry. The successful candidate will primarily work on the characterization and analysis of proteins within human serum, contributing to advancements in understanding protein interactions and functions.
Responsibilities- Conduct experiments involving the extraction, purification, and analysis of proteins from human serum.
- Utilize various techniques such as mass spectrometry, chromatography, and electrophoresis for protein characterization.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement research projects.
- Analyze and interpret data, preparing detailed reports and presenting findings at team meetings.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
- 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with protein chemistry
- Experience in protein extraction, purification, and analysis techniques.
- Strong molecular biology techniques, such as cloning, plasmid purification, SDS‑PAGE, and Western Blot.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, mass spectrometers, and centrifuges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced research environment.
