American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing facility with at least 1 year of experience and an active state license if applicable.
Responsibilities- Work in a skilled nursing facility providing rehabilitation therapy
- Full-time, 40 hours per week schedule
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Focus on adult and geriatric patient populations
- Main responsibilities include assessing patient abilities, developing treatment plans, and delivering individualized therapy interventions
- Work involves educating patients and families on exercises, safety, and home modifications
- Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Flexible scheduling options may be available
- Supportive and collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy
- Active Physical Therapy license required if applicable
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and adaptive equipment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
