Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting functions, including preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting financial analysis. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare detailed expense reports and analysis to assist in management decisions, budgeting/forecasting, and financial performance evaluation.
• Assist with tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Support external and internal audit processes by providing necessary documentation and addressing any questions or concerns.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting experience, preferably within a multi-entity accounting environment.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical capabilities, including proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite), reporting tools, and advanced MS Excel skills.
