** Role Overview
** The
** Director of Nursing
** provides strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services within the residential program. You will ensure excellence in clinical care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and patient safety while fostering a supportive, professional nursing culture.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Provide overall leadership and direction for the nursing department
* Ensure delivery of safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care
* Oversee staffing, scheduling, and nursing workflows across shifts
* Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and internal protocols, ASAM and MOUD assessments.
* Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, and executive leadership
* Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff
* Monitor quality metrics, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
* Promote a calm, therapeutic residential milieu aligned with The Grove Estate’s mission
** What We’re Looking For
*** Active
** Registered Nurse (RN)
** license in good standing
* Prior nursing leadership experience (Director, Manager, or Charge Nurse level preferred)
* Behavioral health, substance use, or residential treatment experience strongly preferred
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams with professionalism, empathy, and accountability
* Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and regulatory knowledge
* Commitment to patient-centered, dignity-focused care
