This is a full-time remote role for a Japanese-English Interpreter. The interpreter will provide accurate and culturally sensitive language interpretation for spoken communication in real-time contexts such as healthcare, legal, and other professional settings. Other responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics and standards. Strong language fluency and the ability to handle diverse situations are essential in this dynamic role.

• Fluency in Japanese and English, with advanced interpretation skills in both languages
• Understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to provide accurate, contextually appropriate interpretation
• Strong listening and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Professionalism, adherence to confidentiality standards, and ability to remain impartial
• Previous experience in healthcare, legal, or community interpreting is highly desirable
• Proficiency in handling remote interpretation tools and technology
• Flexibility to work in a remote environment and adaptability to varying assignments
• Qualifications such as a certified interpreter credential or a degree in a related field are preferred
