DL1 4 Pay Rate: 15.62 About the Role Our client in the Darlington area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Joiner to join the Facilities Management and Building Services team. This is a hands-on role carrying out a range of joinery maintenance and repair work across council properties and facilities. The successful candidate will play an important part in maintaining buildings to a safe and high standard, ensuring repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out general joinery maintenance and repair work across council buildings Repairing and installing doors, frames, locks, skirting boards, and other fixtures Fitting and repairing kitchen units, cupboards, and worktops Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance tasks Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Working both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team Requirements Proven experience as a Joiner / Carpenter in maintenance or building services Ability to carry out a range of repair and installation tasks Good understanding of health and safety on site Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required Good communication and teamwork skills Assignment Details
