Estimated Earnings: £41,000-£52,000 Per Annum

Guaranteed minimum 45 hours per week

Blue Arrow is recruiting for experienced PCV Mechanics to join a well‑established engineering team based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Fitter/Mechanic who takes pride in delivering high‑quality work and keeping essential transport services running smoothly.
Whether you come from a PCV, HGV, LGV, automotive, plant, or similar engineering background, your expertise will play a key role in maintaining a modern and varied fleet to the highest safety and performance standards.
What You will be doing
Carrying out MOT preparation, repairs, diagnostics, and general maintenance to industry and DVSA standards
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic tools
Responding to vehicle issues both within the depot and out on the road when required
Contributing to a safe, efficient, and inclusive workshop environment
Supporting apprentices and junior team members with training and guidance
What We're Looking For
Strong engineering experience within PSV, HGV, truck, haulage, plant, rail, automotive, or agricultural sectors
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is desirable, though strong practical experience will also be considered
A proactive, safety‑focused approach with high attention to detail
Flexibility to support occasional breakdowns or off‑site work
A team‑oriented mindset and commitment to maintaining high standards
