Overview
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Employee, you are responsible for maintaining the hotel’s physical infrastructure to ensure a safe, comfortable, and fully functional environment for guests and staff. Your role includes performing routine maintenance, responding to service requests, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the property.
- Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior grounds.
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, appliances, and fixtures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and servicing of equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Participate in emergency response procedures when required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and secure.
- Provide courteous and professional service when addressing guest concerns.
- Ensure minimal disruption to guests during maintenance activities.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and be on-call for emergencies
