We are currently seeking a proactive, attentive and professional Hall Porter to play an integral role in our multi-faceted team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £29,883 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £24,883, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Location;
Auchterarder, just off the A9. Gleneagles is also within easy reach of a number of Scottish towns and cities:
Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (50mins), Stirling and Perth (25mins).

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
  • You’ll take huge pride in ensuring every guest is welcomed warmly, offering efficient assistance on their arrival and departure; you’ll also provide fascinating information on all aspects of the estate and surrounding area
  • Instilling great confidence for our guests by taking the highest care when handling their luggage from arrival to departure, parking and retrieving their vehicles, and when transporting across the estate and to Gleneagles Station
  • Maintaining guest confidentiality, protecting personal data and ensuring the security of all guests’ personal items by diligently labelling all keys, guest luggage and hotel items
  • Assisting our Link team in the coordination of vehicles, maintaining an easy flow of traffic around the hotel entrance
  • Building fabulous relationships with our guests and members by greeting them warmly by name, taking time to really listen and understand their individual needs and always exceeding their expectations. You’ll remember individual preferences and use your expert knowledge of our estate to ensure each guests' stay is exceptional
  • Taking accountability for all guest enquiries and feedback, resolving any concerns in a positive, creative and timely manner, escalating where required to the relevant department or manager
  • Ensuring all regulations for storing firearms and all necessary procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Embodying the Spirit of Gleneagles, through upholding our values and service standards
  • Remaining environmentally aware at all times; controlling waste, recycling and managing appropriate stock levels
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we’re looking for:
  • Ideally, you’re currently established in a similar role, with outstanding customer service experience
  • You have a full driving licence
  • Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
  • Actively promoting the estate, you’ll constantly look for opportunities to always enhance our guest experience
  • You intuitively read people, anticipating, and fulfilling the expectations of our guests; always warm, thoughtful, professional, and well groomed, you play your part in ensuring luxury service is our signature.
