Hillcrest Futures is recruiting for a Support Worker.
About the ServiceOur service offers flexible hours in the adult social care sector. Whether you have prior experience or not, you will receive full induction training and ongoing support throughout your career.
Perth Outreach provides Housing Support and Care at Home services to individuals across the Perthshire area, covering learning, physical and mental health needs, drug and alcohol recovery, financial hardship, tenancy and transitional support for young adults moving into adult services.
About the RoleThe Support Worker will take a person‑centred approach to maximise service user involvement and help individuals achieve positive outcomes in life.
- Supporting individuals with their medication
- Accessing community‑based resources
- Daily life skills (menu planning, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Support to manage finances and money
- Maintain personal health and hygiene, including personal care
- Support with other issues that arise
- Emotional support
- Promotion of positive mental health, including coping strategies

About You- A positive, flexible attitude with an encouraging nature
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Ability to react efficiently and effectively in emergency situations
- Willingness to attend and maintain ongoing training needs
- Possession of an SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or the ability to work towards this qualification
- Flexibility with shift patterns, including weekend work and occasional evenings
- Obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
- Excellent sleepover payment – £113.40 a night
- Fully paid induction and shadow shifts
