Job Title:
Support Practitioner (Part‑time, Perth)
We are looking for future stars to join our fantastic #Team Perth as Support Practitioners. This is a part‑time, permanent role (10–15 hours per week) based in Perth.
About the RoleAs a Support Practitioner you will provide support to adults with various disabilities and/or additional support needs in Perth. Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day‑to‑day needs, including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and medication. You will also help them participate in hobbies and interests such as activity clubs, swimming, football, boccia, day trips, and eating out.
Responsibilities- Support adults with disabilities in daily living activities
- Assist with personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication management
- Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks
- Confidence to work independently
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- Ability to work well in a team
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Good administration skills
- Basic cooking skills
- Proficiency in using computers
Shift patterns typically involve split shifts during 0800–2000 hours Monday‑Friday and 1000–1930 hours Saturday‑Sunday. Occasionally, later shifts may be required to support activities such as shows, concerts, or overnight trips.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from our Training Academy. You will need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment.
