Perth, Scotland

Contract:

12-month fixed-term contract
Hourly Rate: £13.36

Working Hours:

Full-time (14-37.5 hours per week, flexible shifts between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday-Sunday)

Are you passionate about food and love engaging with people? Our Client is seeking a Customer Tasting Hub Facilitator to deliver delightful tasting experiences for shoppers! This vibrant role is perfect for someone who is confident, friendly, and eager to make a difference in the food retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

- Proactively approach and invite Tesco customers to participate in exciting tasting panels.

- Guide customers through fun blind tastings using iPads and questionnaires.

- Represent the brand with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

Food Preparation & Hygiene:

- Prepare, heat, and present food samples safely and hygienically.

- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout all tasting sessions.

- Follow catering, hygiene, safety, and legal compliance procedures.

Data Collection & Admin:

- Accurately record customer feedback using spreadsheets and internal databases.

- Support Quality Teams with ad-hoc testing sessions.

- Assist with setting up tasting stations and equipment.

Operational Tasks:

- Travel to local stores to collect products (mileage paid).

- Follow established work processes, health & safety protocols, and compliance guidelines.

- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and successful panel sessions.

Essential

Skills:

Food hygiene or catering experience (required).
Experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
Strong customer service experience in a face-to-face setting.
Friendly, outgoing, and confident when engaging with the public.
Basic cooking and food handling skills.
IT literate: comfortable using iPads, spreadsheets, and basic data tools.
Ability to stand for long periods and actively approach customers.
Access to a vehicle for travel between stores.
