Quantity Surveyor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

The Company
The business is a well respected main contractor delivering a variety of new build and refurbishment projects throughout Scotland. They are known for their structured approach quality driven delivery and long term relationships with clients and supply chain partners.

The Role
You will be a key member of the commercial team providing full commercial support across live projects from pre construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include

• Cost planning budgeting and forecasting

• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages

• Interim valuations variations and cost reporting

• Supporting project managers and site teams on live projects

• Final account preparation and agreement

• Assisting with risk management and cost control

About You

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a hybrid role with office and site attendance

• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach

What is on Offer

• Competitive salary depending on experience of circa £50,000 to £60,000

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor looking for flexibility while remaining closely involved in live projects and site activity.

They are open to more junior Q.S's and also those located in Fife/Dundee/Central belt as there are blended work options between home/sites in these areas and office.
