Qualified Accountant; Practice

Job Summary

We are recruiting for a qualified Accountant from Practice to join a small, vibrant and growing firm in the Perth & Kinross area.

This is an in-office role so you must currently live in the area for ease of commute.

Our client’s business is growing through new client wins and superb client retention. This is a two office Practice with plans to open a new office in 2026 and the firm is Founder-led. This is a new role driven by that growth.

To be considered you will be a qualified Accountant with significant UK Practice experience (essential for the role), ideally from a small or mid-tier firm. Experience of working with SMB clients in the Scottish central belt and Highlands is a definite plus.

The firm works with an interesting mix of owner-managed businesses, SMBs, micro-entities and NFPs across a number of industries and sectors.

Your CV should clearly show the types of clients you have worked with, your part in client onboarding, and where and how you have helped to attract new clients to a Practice firm.

In addition to working on your own client portfolio, you will have the opportunity to directly manage, support, coach and mentor less experienced colleagues, including ACCA studiers. Your CV should clearly show your leadership experience and details of the accounting professionals you have managed.

Experience of working with high net worth private clients and IFAs (supported by a relevant qualification) is a real plus - this is a growing area of the firm’s work.
