The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. The role focuses on expanding knowledge and skills, providing effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to complex patients. The RN directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, evaluation, and coordination, while effectively coordinating unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire (applicable to hires on or after November 2019).
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience or active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Minimum rate of $44.24 hourly. The posted rate is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role; full rewards package may vary based on experience, education, certifications, geographic location, etc.
