Location:
Perth Amboy, NJ with travel to Newark location on Tuesdays only
Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday 9am-6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5:30pm & Friday 9am-4:30pm

Are you a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Were looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing physical therapy and chiropractic practice in Perth Amboy, NJ with travel to our Newark location on Tuesdays only. As the first point of contact for our patients, youll create a welcoming, efficient experience while helping our team provide exceptional care.
If you have experience in medical office settings, are fluent in Spanish, and enjoy interacting with patients, we want to hear from you!
What Youll Do :
* Welcome Patients:
Greet and check in patients with a friendly, professional demeanor.
* Appointment Scheduling:
Manage appointments, confirm visits, and handle multi-line phone systems.
* Insurance Verification:
Process patient paperwork, verify insurance, and ensure all documentation is accurate.
* Assist with Inquiries:
Address patient questions and direct them to the appropriate healthcare provider.
* Maintain Office Organization:
Keep the front desk area tidy and organized, maintaining high practice standards.
What Were Looking For :
* Experience:
1+ years of front desk or medical office experience (preferably in physical therapy or chiropractic settings).
* Insurance Knowledge:
Familiarity with insurance verification and processing.
* Bilingual:
Fluency in Spanish (and/or Portuguese) is required for effective communication with our diverse patient base.
* Strong Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills to interact confidently with patients, staff, and providers.
* Detail-Oriented & Organized:
Able to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using EMR systems and office technology.
* Ability to commute to PERTH AMBOY and NEWARK locations as described

Salary Transparency:
This position is aligned with Pay Grade 4 of the 2025 OPM Salary Table for the NY, NJ, CT, and PA region. Compensation is based on experience and education.
