We are looking for a detail-driven, proactive Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our credit, collections, and revenue protection efforts. This role blends strong AR fundamentals with ERP expertise and a problem-solving mindset to manage deductions, chargebacks, and customer compliance requirements.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to protect cash flow, reduce revenue leakage, and continuously improve AR processes. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both tactical execution and process improvement.

• Own day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations, including billing accuracy, collections, cash application, and deduction management.
• Manage and maintain customer master data within the ERP system, ensuring accurate credit terms, billing setups, payment methods, and portal requirements.
• Monitor AR aging, proactively follow up on overdue balances, and support healthy cash flow.
• Investigate, manage, and dispute customer deductions and chargebacks related to shortages, pricing discrepancies, compliance issues, and retailer chargebacks.
• Navigate and manage disputes through large customer portals (e.g., Walmart, Target, grocery and wholesale portals).
• Audit remittance advice and ERP data to identify invalid, duplicate, or preventable deductions.
• Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure bills of lading, proof of delivery, and supporting documentation are captured and accessible.
• Analyze deduction and chargeback trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to prevent recurring issues and improve customer compliance.
• Identify opportunities to optimize ERP processes, reduce manual work, enhance reporting, and improve automation.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for AR processes, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections experience within manufacturing, wholesale, CPG, or food & beverage environments.
• Strong experience working in an ERP system with a solid understanding of AR workflows and reporting (Net Suite experience preferred).
• Proven, hands-on experience managing deductions and chargebacks in high-volume environments.
• Familiarity with automated deduction or claims management tools.
• Experience working with large retailer/customer portals and compliance requirements.
• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and persistent with a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
• Comfortable owning processes, driving improvements, and working independently.
