Owen Daniels are working with an established aerospace and defence manufacturing business based in Pershore is seeking a Quality Technician to join their quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regulated, precision-driven environment supplying critical components to leading aerospace and defence customers.
The Role As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet strict quality and compliance standards through detailed inspection and quality control activities across goods inwards, in-process, and final inspection.
Key Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Carrying out manual inspection using verniers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand-held measuring equipment
Goods-in inspection of raw materials and components
Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation
Supporting non-conformance investigations and corrective actions
Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
Ensuring compliance with aerospace and defence quality requirements
Key Requirements
Proven experience in a Quality Technician or Inspection role within manufacturing
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
Confident using manual inspection equipment (verniers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
Experience with goods-in inspection processes
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Background in aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable
