Overview
Under Leadership of the Global Director of Marketing, the Marketing Project Specialist (MPS) supports the Marketing Team in executing strategic marketing initiatives and projects that drive new business growth, strengthen customer retention, and enhance the overall customer experience for Master Fluid Solutions’ global markets. The MPS is responsible for managing assigned project budgets and optimizing resources across a wide range of marketing activities, including both large-scale programs and smaller departmental projects.
In addition to project management responsibilities, this role performs hands-on marketing work such as developing collateral, supporting design needs, and assisting with trade show planning and execution as assigned. The MPS coordinates marketing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring effective planning, tracking, communication, and reporting of progress, challenges, and outcomes. The MPS collaborates with global business units and cross-functional teams as needed to support various projects.
- Execute regional and global marketing initiatives by managing assigned projects that support strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate proactively with regional marketing and cross-functional teams to advance high-priority projects aligned with the global marketing strategy.
- Implement detailed tactical project plans to strengthen marketing effectiveness for existing and new products across diverse channels and markets.
- Apply core marketing principles—Product, Pricing, Packaging, Promotion, and Positioning—to ensure strong market alignment and competitive differentiation.
- Monitor, manage, and report project progress to ensure deliverables, milestones, and deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Oversee and optimize project budgets, ensuring responsible use of resources and alignment with financial guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong end-to-end project management, driving projects from concept through completion while collaborating effectively within a global, multi-functional team environment.
- Provide direct support to regional marketing efforts, including development of marketing collateral and trade show coordination.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), ideally with an emphasis in project management, written communications, marketing, and demonstration of key competencies. Must have 5+ years of experience in the B2B or industrial marketing or project management field, along with proficiency in English. Project Management Professional Certification required. Agile Project Management experience a plus. This position will require limited travel, sometimes overnight, and may require international travel.
Travel is expected to be about 5%-10%.
