JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and leads the daily installation, repair and maintenance of our facility, property and equipment. This position provides leadership over the maintenance technician workforce in repairing, maintaining, cleaning, troubleshooting, and installing all equipment in the facility.

DIRECT REPORTS – Maintenance Technicians

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Directs and leads a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training and development and performance feedback.

Collaborates with maintenance planner and production leaders to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring timely and effective execution of task by Maintenance team.

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures including: LOTO, QEW, Confined Space entry, Emergency Response, and general safety practices.

Ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

Performance Management:
Responsible for developing and maintaining a high-level Team Member morale and dedication to serving customers. Responsible for coaching, mentoring, training, and development of Team Members. Give performance feedback as appropriate in a consistent and timely manner.

Review, correct, and approve TM timecards through Jack Link’s timekeeping tool to ensure Team Members are paid correctly for each pay-period.

Responsible for KPIs related to the maintenance department.

Identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects.

In partnership with Human Resources manage the staffing levels to appropriately support a 24/7 manufacturing facility, which includes participation in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.

Monitoring all processes for optimal performance and reacting to deficiencies.

Troubleshooting abnormal condition of all equipment in the facility.

Participation in the development of SOPs and other training and instructional documentation.

Ordering parts, tools, chemicals, and lubricants.

Performs other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

Education:

High School Diploma or GED*

Required Experience:

3+ years of equipment maintenance in manufacturing, including hydraulics, pneumatics, & electronics; leadership experience

Preferred:

Associates or Technical Degree in applicable field
