Landfill/Solid Waste Inspector – Part Time

Visits specific parcel to verify the accuracy of the LFI roll, as requested by the property owner, adjacent property owners and the county.

• Field and office work with a majority in the field.
• Checking for RV hookups, new construction, remodeling permits, added RV hook ups, new signage offering RV lots for rent.
• Taking pictures of dwellings, hook ups and signage when doing the inspection.
• During hunting season, you will be going to camp sites and leased camp sites on Four Rivers Land and private land, checking them to verify amounts of RVs.
• During the annual scallop season, you will be down at the beaches and Steinhatchee looking for unpermitted RVs and construction of RV lots.
