Scheduler, Transportation

Transdev in Perris, CA is hiring a Scheduler. The Scheduler intercepts customer calls and schedules transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

$20.00 - $22.00/ hr

• Vacation: up to 5 days per year
• Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours yearly for full-time employees after 90 days. Medical, dental & vision after 30 calendar days of employment for full-time employees and life insurance, 401k retirement.

• Ensure that routes are established as efficiently as possible.
• Maintains the routes for accuracy and efficiency.
• May work with software programs to establish routes for drivers.
• Verifies accuracy of driver’s route times and stop times on the actual routes are correct.
• Demonstrates and promotes a safe environment at all times.
• Assists the Contract Manager in establishing standard hours accuracy report.
• May maintain driver miles and amount of time for drivers on a spreadsheet for billing preparation.
• Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
• Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
• Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
• Communicate late vehicle service and verifying “No Shows” with customers.
• Resolve service‑related complaints.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
• Computer literate with the capacity to learn new software.
• Ability to operate a standard telephone system.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
