R42112## Position Summary NIGHT SHIFT PORT DRIVERS NEEDED!
Safely pick up containers from the port and transport to the distribution center. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.## Position Description
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
* Operate Class 8 tractor with a max gross vehicle weight of up to 80,000 lbs.
* Pick up containers from the port and transport to distribution centers
* Adhere to all federal, state, corporate and departmental safety standards
* Inspect truck for defects before, during and after trips; submits DVIR log indicating truck condition
* Properly track driver log information in accordance with DOT compliance
* Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle
* Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries
* Communicate with dispatch as needed
* Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
* Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
* Check weather conditions and road reports before departure
* Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
* Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
* Notify management of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
* Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times
* Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
* Track and report working hours
* Skilled at driving large vehicles
* Able to properly maneuver and park a tractor-trailer
* Able to maintain a clean driving record with no moving violations
* Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
* Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends on a regular basis## Qualifications
** Education/

Experience:

** High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  1+ years verifiable experience with operating and driving a tractor-trailer is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
** Computer

Skills:

** To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Driver Truck Log software.
** Certificates and Licenses:
** Must meet all Federal Department of Transportation physical requirements of a Class A CDL driver.  Must have current TWIC card for Port entry.##
** Position Hiring Range
** The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire.  Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.

Compensation: $24.40 - $31.70

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.  Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.

Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.Additional available benefits upon meeting eligibility requirements include:
