Based in Perris, CA, you will plan, direct, and coordinate operations at the facility, improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through effective methods and strategies.

As an experienced Operations Manager, you will lead daily logistics activities to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities, coordinate with customers to ensure smooth operations, and provide real‑time staffing guidance.

• Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.
• Interface with customers to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provide input on local conditions, identify needs, and receive direction on real‑time staffing changes.
• Enact contingency plans as needed; escape and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, and participate in post‑mortem analysis for future improvements.
• Review ongoing performance results against targets, take corrective measures with authorization, and escalate as needed.
• Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and/or the team, enforce company standards, and act as a role‑model.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Progressive experience in professional‑level operational and plant management, preferably in automotive or logistics.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; write documents using innovative techniques or style; make persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Proficient personal computer skills, including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics.

DP World offers a market‑competitive compensation package for this role, with an annual salary range of $84,000 to $101,000.
