Overview
Contract Behavioral Consultant (PsyD, LCSW, or LMFT) for Toward Maximum Independence (TMI). TMI is a nonprofit organization transforming the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities since 1981 and the deaf and hard of hearing since 2000. The ideal candidate has experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, co-occurring mental health diagnoses, and a variety of medical diagnoses, and can perform functional behavioral assessments/analysis, implement behavioral modification programs, and provide crisis intervention within the family structure.
Responsibilities- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary planning team and provide effective behavior interventions to adults with /DD and mental health diagnoses.
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments.
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed monthly progress notes of behavioral services and client progress.
- Provide ongoing communication, support, and training to caregivers and staff on the implementation of supportive behavior strategies.
- Collaborate with Regional Center personnel, schools, day programs, group home staff, and families to ensure effective implementation of recommended programs and services.
- Provide services in accordance with funding levels and requirements for overall direct and indirect services.
- Participate in a minimum of 1 clinical meeting per month.
- Travel up to 1 hour away for in-home consultations.
- Bill TMI on a monthly basis; mileage is not reimbursed.
- Monday–Friday with variable days and hours.
- Contract position (no benefits).
- Must be a licensed clinician (LCSW, PsyD, or PhD in Clinical Psychology).
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
- At least 12 units of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) preferred.
Hours: Part-Time
Salary: $60 per hour
Work Location: Temecula and Inland Empire
Case Load: 10 hours per client per month; you may choose the number of cases you wish to take on
Hours: Design your own hours between Monday to Friday
