Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Field Service Technician for an on-site role based in Peoria, IL. The Field Service Technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment and machinery used in construction, agriculture, and other industries. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, testing machinery for functionality, and documenting all service tasks thoroughly.

The role requires prompt and professional communication with customers to ensure their equipment operates at peak performance.

Qualifications
  • Technical skills in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair for heavy equipment or machinery
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail in identifying and resolving mechanical issues
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills to log service tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Customer-focused communication skills to provide effective support and build strong client relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment
  • Experience with industry tools and equipment; familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in mechanics or related fields are preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical requirements of the role
