Machinist II / Building Maintenance Technician (Gannett Publishing Services) – Peoria, IL

Machinist II/Building Maintenance Technician. Responsible for maintenance, inspection, and repair of production equipment, HVAC, and building facilities.

• Inspect and repair production equipment daily; troubleshoot and repair equipment during live production (primary duty).
• Inspect and repair HVAC and facilities daily.
• Maintain valid driver’s license; be on call 24/7.

• Electrical/Electronic experience required.
• Able to read schematics.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Plumbing experience a plus.
• Ability to learn new skills.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• Basic computer skills.

• 2nd shift and/or 1st shift.
• Holidays.
• Weekends.
• 5 shifts of 7.5 hours or 4 shifts of 9.375 hours.

• Full-time work; uniforms supplied.
• Insurance, 401(k).
